About Me
I'm a Registered Psychologist and Clinical Psychology Registrar with experience across private practice, youth mental health services, community mental health, university counselling, and group facilitation. Dandy Lion Psychology is my private practice, where I offer individual therapy in person and via telehealth.
I have particular experience working with LGBTQIA+ clients, neurodivergent people (including ADHD and autism), and those navigating trauma, burnout, grief, and life transitions. As a queer, non-binary, neurodivergent person myself, I bring my own lived experience into the therapy space thoughtfully and only when it feels helpful.
I also come from a Latin American background and speak Spanish fluently. While my clinical work is primarily conducted in English, I’m mindful of the ways language, culture, migration, and intergenerational experiences can shape identity, distress, and healing, and I’m open to incorporating this where it feels supportive and appropriate.
I’m committed to offering a safe, affirming space for people of all identities, genders, relationship structures, neurotypes, and bodies, and therapy that is attentive to power, privilege, and systemic harm. I recognise the ways psychology has historically pathologised and harmed marginalised communities, and I strive to practise in ways that actively support healing, self-determination, and the prevention of further harm. I believe healing is a collective responsibility.
I look forward to working with you.
