Therapy Approach
No one way of doing therapy works for everyone. My style is relational, holistic, and integrates a range of different modalities to suit my clients' needs. Ultimately, I believe you are the expert on your life, and my role is to work alongside you, helping make sense of your experiences, and supporting change that feels meaningful and sustainable to you.
I am committed to working in ways that are anti-oppressive, de-pathologising, trauma-informed, and identity-affirming, grounded in a systems view of mental health. This means I recognise that our wellbeing is shaped not only by personal experiences and relationships, but also by the broader social, cultural, and structural contexts we live within. I take an intersectional lens, acknowledging the impact of factors such as race, class, gender, sexuality, neurodivergence, disability, and marginalisation on how people experience distress and healing.
Some sessions may feel reflective and exploratory; others may focus more on skills, patterns, or specific goals. We can adjust the pace and focus together as your needs and preferences change.
